Over the last couple of months, we’ve been tracking the political decisions of Divinity: Dragon Commander players, wondering what would happen if they were in charge of government. Well, we know now, and we’ll let you be the judge of what it says about modern society. For one thing, kids should be allowed to smoke in the classroom! And waterboarding should be legal as a matter of course! Gay rights are respected, but democracy, well, it turns out to be not as popular as generally assumed. At least the inquisition won’t be coming back. But we really should worry about the climate, because when it comes to the economy, ecology needs to take a back seat! These and more eye-opening results can be seen in the shiny new Dragon Commander movie: How did players vote? We’d love to publish all results, but we’re afraid videogames might be banned afterwards. Hopefully there’ll be no leaks, for in the hands of the wrong type of politician, a dragonleak scandal might mean the end of our favorite medium. Nevertheless, you can secretly check them all out in this strictly-confidential Excel file. Gamespot: Divinity: Dragon Commander Review
"Divinity: Dragon Commander is an unexpected delight. This prequel to Larian Studio's Divinity series of role-playing games skillfully merges real-time and turn-based strategy with RPGs, arcade action, and the cutthroat world of politics (both modern and medieval). Somehow this mixture works--and it probably has something to do with the ability to play as a jetpack-wearing Dragon." 8/10

PCGMedia: Divinity: Dragon Commander review
"it has to be lauded for completely surpassing the expectations of those who heard about it in its early stages. Each of the three major components fit neatly together, and they’re all fantastic in their own right. It works. It really, really works – and because it works, it’s possibly the most unique title I’ve played in a long while that hasn’t skimped on polish, visuals, or quality. It has everything, and it’s done everything well." 93/100

The Controller Online: Divinity: Dragon Commander Review
"Divinity: Dragon Commander does a great job of mixing styles to create a fresh new take on the strategy game. Purists may feel it doesn’t go deep enough in any one area, but its different layers come together to make for an ultimately fun and complete game. If you’re looking for a truly different strategy game, be sure to grab Dragon Commander." 8/10
